Av Historisk Grunn

by Berstad / Helgebostad / Seljeseth

Av Historisk Grunn is a collaboration, and a long term-project, by choreographers Eivind Seljeseth, Ingeleiv Berstad and Kristin Ryg Helgebostad that started in 2011 when they were studying choreography together at Oslo National Academy of the Ars.

The project revolves around questions about what shapes history. The work has resulted in three different performances, a seminar called Fremtidens kulturhus (Future Cultural Spaces), a fanzine and a book, which illuminates different aspects of the project through text and images.

The book is edited by Anette Therese Pettersen, and includes contributions Anette Therese Pettersen, Berstad/Helgebostad/Seljeseth, Ingri Midgard Fiksdal, Ine Therese Berg, Alf Jørgen Schnell, Agder Nye Teater, Mette Edvardsen, Sigrid Ø. Svendal, Ravnedans/BAREDANS/Scene :Bluss, Runa Borch Skolseg, Namik Mačkić, and an interview with Ola Beskow.

Design: Ylva Greni Gulbrandsen, illustrations: Brynjar Åbel Bandlien, photo: Simen Dieserud Thornquist, Maren Hald Bjørgum and Eivind Seljeseth.
